Sailing today!

Three boats sailed today! Lennart sailed his SWE177 for the first time and he did really good!
We sailed for three and a half hours and the wind was westerly around 17-18 knots towards the end of the day. Fine conditions and we where all pretty tired when we came back to the marina.

Tre båtar seglade idag! Lennart seglade sin SWE177 för första gången och han gjorde ett toppjobb! Snabbheten i båten bådar gott för framtiden. Vinden var västlig omkring 8-9m/s på slutet av dagen. Fina förhållanden och vi var alla ganska trötta när vi kom tillbaka till hamnen.

Sailing Tuesday!

SWE 177 finally at the marina. Lennart and Blogmaster plan to sail tomorrow Tuesday. Nice to see three boats at the marina. Conny should have SWE279 ready by the weekend. Now all we wish for is some nice wind and weather.

SWE177 är äntligen på plats nere vid sjön. Lennart och Blogmaster planerar att segla imorgon Tisdag. Skoj att se tre båtar på plats nere vid sjön. Conny bör få sin SWe279 färdig till helgen. Inte så mycket som återstår på hans båt. Nu önskar vi lite lagom fin vind och lite fint väder.

SWE279 close to completion

I'm posting a couple of pictures of Conny's SWE279. The boat is looking really good and it is not that much left to do before she is ready to sail.

Lennart´s boat is finally done!

Today blogmaster and Lennart finished up SWE177. She is now ready to sail!
Unfortunately it looks like the cold front coming through is going to postpone sailing until Tuesday or Wednesday. We will move SWE177 to the marina tomorrow and be ready to sail when the weather is better again.

Idag gjorde vi det sista på Lennarts SWE177. Hon är nu segelklar! Lite synd att det ser ut som om vädret ska bli riktigt dåligt några dagar. Kanske får vi vänta och segla tills Tisdag eller Onsdag. Vi ska flytta ner SWE177 till hamnen imorgon så att vi kan segla så fort vädret tillåter.

SWE393 one step closer to completion

Today Johan and Blogmaster worked on SWE393. A couple of hours and some epoxi sticky fingers later and Johan's SWE393 is a bit closer to completion. Lennart came by to check out the progress.
It has been and still are when I write this a beautiful day here in Nyköping. Sailing is planned for later this week and or Saturday next weekend. Hopefully with 4 boats!

Johan och Blogmaster jobbade med SWE393 idag. Ett par timmar och lite epoxi klibbiga fingrar senare så är Johans SWE393 en bit närmare färdig. Lennart kom förbi och kollade att vi gjorde rätt. Det har och är fortfarande en underbart fin dag här i Nyköping. Segling är planerad till slutet av veckan och eller Lördag. Förhoppningen är att vi är 4 båtar färdiga då!

SWE177 getting ready for sailing

Lennart and blogmaster spent a couple of hours tonight getting SWE177 ready to sail. The boom along other things was fitted. Lennart is getting close to having his boat ready to sail.

Lennart och blogmaster jobbade lite på SWE177 ikväll. Bombeslaget och lite annat smått och gott poppades fast. Lennarts båt är snart färdig för segling.

Johan's shroud tensioners installed tonight

Blogmaster took a bike ride over to Johans house for some work on his SWe393 this evening.
We installed the shroud tensioners. Tomorrow we will do some more work on SWE393 and hopefully Johan will be sailing with us before too long. His boat looks great and is light, weighing a good 5 kg less than the rest of our boats.

Blogmaster tog en cykeltur över till Johans hus ikväll för lite pyssel på hans SWE393. Vi installerade hans vantspännare och planerade för imorgon kväll. Vi ska plasta fast skotbänken och förstärka lite nere vid durken imorgon. Förhoppningen är att Johan snart seglar med oss. Hans båt är snygg att se på och kommer att bli snabb. Den väger ju 5kg mindre än våra andra båtar.

Congratulations to Mathias who is turning 35 years old Friday the 6th of July! Mathias is the youngest member of our fleet.

Grattis till Mathias som fyller 35 år Fredagen den 6/7. Mathias är den yngsta medlemmen i vår flottilj.

Sailing planned for Thursday

Hopefully Lennart's shrouds will arrive in the mail tomorrow Wednesday. Sailing practice is planned for Thursday night and our hopes are that Lennart will join Mathias and Blogmaster.

Förhoppningsvis kommer Lennarts vant med posten imorgon onsdag. Träning är planerad till Torsdag kväll och vi hoppas att Lennart är med och kör tillsammans med Mathias och Blogmaster.

We plan to sail this week. Hopefully Lennart will receive his shrouds in the mail tomorrow. He is itching to sail and hopefully we will be 3 boats practicing towards the end of the week.

Vi planerar att segla i veckan. Förhoppningen är att Lennart har fått sina vant i posten imorgon. Han är rejält seglings sugen och vi hoppas vara 3 båtar på träningen i slutet av veckan.
